Flirt - Laurell K. Hamilton A semi-novel, in the vein of Micah, rather than a full-length Anita Blake novel, it was actually a breath of fresh air for the series. It started fairly well with an interesting interview with a man who wanted to bring his wife back from the dead but quickly degenerated into another "Anita plays ego stroking with her men" scene which have made the last few books in this series tiresome with their repetitiveness.

Once we're past that scene however, the rest of the book reminded me why I started reading these books in the first place. There is zombie raising, flesh eating, a human sacrifice and, perhaps unfortunately, yet another beta male added to Anita's harem.

Nice to whet the appetite. I look forward to reading Bullet now.
